AK Mons Private House: Maximum Security and Insulated Comfort in Belgium

Where Belgium’s characteristic architecture meets modern design, AK Mons Private House was engineered to meet the most demanding technical requirements without compromising on aesthetics. For the window and door solutions, high-performance systems representing the pinnacle of European standards were selected — transforming the building not just into a home, but into a perfectly insulated sanctuary from the outside world.

This project goes beyond visual appeal—addressing wind loads, wide openings, and demanding climate conditions through a fully engineered aluminum system designed for long-term reliability.

The Power of Systemic Harmony

The window and door systems used throughout the project are a versatile solution combining high insulation values with unwavering stability and top-tier security. Designed around a philosophy of “systemic harmony,” this technology delivers functional aesthetics in every corner of the AK Mons project, with both inward and outward opening configurations available.

For the Beachmill Project, every step from order confirmation to production, packaging, and delivery was managed with international-level precision and full process traceability.

Engineering-Driven Window & Door Solutions

The core objective at AK Mons was to create a building envelope that adapts to Belgium’s variable climate, meets the highest European security standards, and maximizes acoustic comfort. To achieve this, the high-performance window and door systems were built on the following key engineering principles:

Optimized Thermal Insulation:

  • Taking Belgium’s cold climate into account, the HI+ high-insulation variant was selected. This reduces the frame heat transmission coefficient down to 1.2 W/m²K, minimizing energy consumption.

Airtightness & Watertightness:

  • The systems achieve Class 4 airtightness (600 Pa) and Class 9A watertightness (600 Pa) — the highest classifications available — guaranteeing a sealed envelope even in the most severe Belgian storms.

Design Freedom:

  •  Bendable aluminum profiles allow the design to go one step further, enabling curved architectural forms that standard systems simply cannot achieve.

Performance Beyond Today

The window and door systems chosen for AK Mons Private House are designed to meet not only today’s residential standards but those of the future. For projects requiring high insulation performance and elevated security, this technology delivers a powerful and reliable solution.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Thanks to their exceptional thermal bridge isolation, the systems retain interior heat effectively — significantly reducing heating costs throughout the colder months.

Because these are not standard glazing frames. They are engineered security shields capable of providing burglar resistance up to RC3 and PAS24 certification, with optional bulletproof configurations available on request.

Yes. Profiles are specially prepared for bending, shaped to the required curvature, then heat-treated to restore structural rigidity before being painted — delivering exactly the design vision required.
